building a foundation for a local legacy

American Savings Foundation

The client needed help updating their old website template that was built in an outdated version of Adobe's Dreamweaver. Though it's not a method we recommend, the client wanted to keep using the technology but update the programming (We recommend migrating all sites to a more manageable CMS such as Drupal or Wordpress). We stepped in and gave the client an updated site by creating a better User Experience, updated Interface and and the latest interactive web technologies, all while maintaining the clients request of utilizing Adobe Dreamweaver.

MJF Contracting

Established in 1976, New York based MJF Contracting is a family owned and operated business, specializing in retail, institutional and corporate construction. Though the client was having great success offline, they wanted to expand their client base, and they knew to do that, they needed a website.

Project Story

MJF also wanted to use their website as a tool for their business, not only in an advertising sense, but they also wanted their contractors to be able to log in, and upload document and photos pertaining to current projects.

To ensure the client's website would reach as many users as possible, we designed a fully responsive website that would deliver their content appropriately, whether the visitor is was visiting using their desktop, or mobile device. We delivered their site built upon a WordPress foundation, giving them the ability to update the site’s content when they needed, and allowing us to utilize WordPress's login feature to allow their contractors to sign in and upload information as needed.

Copen26

This gives the client the ability to add, remove or update products, run sales and create special coupon codes that can be shared across Social Media and email campaigns. This website was also built utilizing a Responsive design, meaning their website will be adapt its design to deliver the best User Experience on any device.

Project Story

Our client had a website that was built using her hosting providers pre-canned software and development tools. The site was usable but she knew she wasn't able to utilize her site to its fullest potential. The provider’s software was limiting to say the least; it was difficult to update, layout & design were set in stone and the user experience wasn't performing to the standards she wanted and felt the website as a whole wasn't expressing her company image appropriately.

We sat with Mary and discussed everything she wanted and hoped from her website. After multiple discussions and integrating all of her feedback into our mock-ups, we were able to build and deliver a solid custom solution that gave her website a persona that spoke to her clients while also giving her the ability to update content wherever and whenever she wanted.
